Sigma Labs Teams Up With OXYS Corp.

Sigma Labs, a provider of software for 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing process, Thursday sealed a development agreement with privately-held OXYS Corp. Sigma said the first project will be a new architecture platform for the company’s 3D manufacturing software.

Sigma said it expects that the completed project will allow for miniaturization of the sensor and hardware associated with the 3D manufacturing product and enhancements to the level of hardware-software integration. The new system is intended to work with polymer-based 3D printing. Sigma said new manufacturing software will integrate mechanization, mass production, and computerization into 3D manufacturing processes.
